The colors used when you create this type of bedroom are paramount for it to work well, so use shades of antique amber or slate blue for example. If your preference is have a room that can be used purely to relax in then refinishing the master bedroom will mean the addition of mirrors combined with extra pillows and landscape paintings; which should help to provide this effect.
